On Thursday, June 3rd, the eighth grade class got a chance to showcase their gaming skills.

Students created their own unique board and card games and presented their innovative creations to their peers, teachers and administrators and competed to be the winner of the Game On competition.

Winners and finalist were selected based on the length of their presentation, public speaking skills, organization and originality.

It was a tough competition that lead to four finalists: Ashley Lucero; Alexa Perez; Daniela Vazquez-Luna; Jesmerly Crisostomo-Mejia; and Joel Camarena, and three winners: 

3rd place: Aixa Zavaleta

2nd place: Austin and Justin

1st place and beating out over 50 competitors: Hazmil B
