Emelin Villanueva, graduating senior

From Emelin Villanueva

Hey buds,

So you’re seniors now, woo hoo!! It’s very exciting for me. My senior year was very fun. I am sad to leave but it’s exciting to see what else is out there, like meeting new teachers, new friends, and meeting people.
But senior year is not just all fun and games in the beginning. I HIGHLY suggest that when FAFSA starts you should apply between the first month because the earlier you do it the more money you get.
Start looking for colleges you might be interested in. Find teachers you are close with or someone who you look up to and ask for a college recommendation letter. PLEASE do not do your college application late because if you do, you can be put on the waitlist.
Don’t be afraid to ask for help. For me, Ms. Noguera was amazing and help me and other students with their FAFSA because it can be very confusing. Also DO NOT forget to mail your parents signatures.
Other then that, don’t fail any classes, make sure you study for your finals, and make up any classes you need credit for.
I say enjoy it while you can. Have fun and create great memories with your friends.
