Alan Dominguez is a soon-to-be 18-year-old student at the Passaic Academy for Science and Engineering. For his Senior year Alan has stepped foot into new territory writing for his school newspaper known one and only as “The Science Star”, as well as supervising all of his colleagues work making sure it is presentable and factually correct. For most of his high school years he had never experimented with extracurricular activities or programs, in fact during those years you could say his only skills were watching YouTube, browsing Instagram or Twitter for memes, or playing video games for hours-on-end. However, that changes this year, as he has learned how to apply himself and make use of those academic skills that are waiting to be released, and what better way to demonstrate it than on his school newspaper? Alan still has ways to go, but you can be sure that his work lives up to his skills that have yet to be truly seen.
