Valerie Contreras, Assistant Editor-in-Chief
This is Valerie Contreras and she is the second Assistant Editor Chief for the Passaic Science and Engineering news paper club and is glad to be part of this new experience. As a senior, she wants to inspire the underclassmen to not be afraid of their dreams and go for it, no matter how frightening or nerve racking it could be, this is her first time as a newspaper editor, she has no journalism experience but is willing to learn along with her staff to make this into the best newspaper in the school. She is part of the Passaic High School Marching band, music is one of her favorite hobbies as well as baking. Her career goal to one day be a surgeon or in the anesthesiologist path, by working hard and having goals. She is certain that she is able to do anything she puts mind to and encourages other to do the same, not to be afraid of taking risks.
